FOOD activism
Here's a sample of my voluntary commitments and projects connecting people with their food and the natural system we live in.

As a head nutritionist in Permakultur Stjärnsund I cooked 3 meals a day for the volunteers in this outdoor kitchen. Entirely fueled by wood.

Instead of an electric or gas fueled stove this stove is fueled by wood - with optimal combustion.. Here I cooked everything from breakfast to soups, stews, fry ups, pancakes, rice - you name it!

This oven worked pretty much like an electric oven but fueled by wood. We made pizzas, lasagna, quiche, roasted veggies etc.

We went to the finals in a pitching competition that ALMI arranged.

This was the first party that we co-arranged withother Student groups for Sustainability.. SASS (Sahlgrenska) and HaSS (Handels) and GMV (Göteborgs Miljövetenskapliga centrum).

We cut, we dance, we cook, we eat!

We visited the city sheep in Högsbo, during the Urban Farming Safari 2014

Second stop at the Urban Farming Safari 2014. We visited this urban garden on the old fortification hill (Skansberget) in the dense urban area of Linné.

At the end of the Urban Farming Safari 2014 - there was a Schnippeldisco. Rescued food + harvest from the urban garden + dancing & cooking = this delicious vegetarian buffé !

We rescued 100kg of perfectly edible salmon that would have otherwise been trown away.

Friday the 25th april we hosted a dinner party for the conference of the European Network for Industrial Engineers. 120 people came to cook together, having lots of fun.

Baked in the oven, made into a cold salad, made into a warm gratin, salmon soup.

120 people came to cook together, transforming the rescued food into a wonderful buffet!

We got an article in the newspaper GP: http://www.gp.se/nyheter/goteborg/1.2282054-de-lagar-treratters-middag-av-matsopor

The food we served was 100% rescued. THis is the preparation of the first course: bruschetta, with tomatoes coming up..

From "waste" to fine dining! Second project manager Olga serving our happy guests.

When the "mother" of Biomimicry, Janine Benyus, came to Gothenburg to receive the Gothenburg Award for sustainability there were a vernissage in where we presented our biomimicry design Visual Water.

I participated in a design competition with the concept Visual Water. The idea was an edible green wall that would clean water from a urine separated toilet combined with an educational tool. Closing the nutrient cycle in a pedagogic way for both kids and adults.

As finalists we got to participate at the global biomimicry conference, in Boston. We went Harward club (Boston) and pitched our idea to up to a hundred visitors from the Biomimicry conference. This is the team!
